May Pole
Each year’s Dover Days activities showcase our state’s history and heritage, as well as highlights from more contemporary times such as the parade and the traditional Maypole Dancing. Students from South Dover participate in this annual event each year. They are taught the traditional dance and wear appropriate attire from colonial days. This is a true celebration of the first state.
